PathPoint is seeking a full-time Assistant Program Coordinator to help lead our Integrated Work and Paths to Success day programs in Thousand Oaks, CA 91360. Both programs aim to teach vocational, and social skills to adults with developmental disabilities through a mix of work/volunteer sites, in-person classes, and virtual meetings.

In this role, you will assist the Program Coordinator with supervisory responsibilities and provide administrative support for the program. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate and grow your leadership skills! Our ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, an optimistic attitude, and planning/organization skills. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

What You'll Do:

  • Assists with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; observing and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Assists with developing and/or develops the Individual Service Plan (ISP) with the program individual's input and assistance; implements the ISP and provides written progress reports in a timely manner.
  • Arranges staffing coverage when needed, including providing direct support as needed to cover staff absences; supervising and supporting program individuals while they are learning and practicing skills at worksites.
  • Collaborates with employers and other community partners to ensure that partner expectations and agreements are met.

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities required.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Must pass Live Scan DOJ fingerprint background check, TB screening and basic health screening.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with at least 5 years driving history, a satisfactory driving record, and be eligible for coverage on PathPoint's auto insurance policy.

Compensation: This is an hourly, non-exempt position starting at $19.50 per hour. The pay range is $18.78-$28.17 an hour. *

Bilingual: If you are bilingual (English-Spanish or English-ASL), the starting wage is $19.80 per hour and the pay range is $18.78-$28.17 an hour. *

  • The pay range is subject to change based on a variety of factors, and the maximum pay represents the wage potential based on attaining the highest level of position experience, talent, and responsibilities.
