Summary

As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and effective operations of the organization. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various operational activities to ensure smooth business operations. Your primary focus will be on assisting in planning, implementing, and evaluating operational processes and procedures, monitoring productivity and performance, and resolving operational issues as they arise.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support Operations Manager: Assist the Operations Manager in developing and implementing operational strategies, goals, and plans in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and recommend solutions to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and reduce costs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance, identify trends, and propose improvement initiatives.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including installation, internal operations, ordering & logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training and mentoring staff members on operational procedures, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and high performance.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate with various departments to ensure the availability and efficient utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate operational disruptions, such as supply chain interruptions or staffing shortages.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and quality control measures to maintain operational excellence.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze operational data to generate reports, insights, and recommendations for enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Problem Resolution: Address operational issues and challenges promptly, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to operational activities, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide Signature Service to Homeowners and Customers.
  • Supervise a team of about 2 - 10 employees.

What You'll Need:

  • Four-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of operation processes/IT systems.
  • Basic understanding of window/door installation processes and requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in using computer software and tools for data analysis, reporting, and project management.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
