We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager in our Ariat Outlet Store in Sawgrass Mills. As an Assistant Manager, you will also be eligible for our monthly and quarterly bonus program.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with all store operations, including but not limited to, achieving sales plans, conducting training of all associates, motivating the store team, and ensuring customer service, inventory and visual standards are consistently achieved or exceeded.

Primary Responsibilities: (Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned at any time)

Sales, Service, and Merchandising Requirements

o Supervise and motivate all team members when on the selling floor or back of house on service and merchandising standards, as well as product knowledge.

o Deliver exemplary customer service and lead by example when assisting customers, as well as ensure their team members do the same to uphold the Ariat brand name and standards for service.

o Maintain all in-store inventory and visual standards of the sales floor by keeping it stocked, organized and well-merchandised.

o Assist Store Manager in partnering with the Corporate Buying Department with regards to product feedback and requests.

o Perform point of sales transactions.

Qualifications and Other Requirements:

o 2 years of previous retail supervisor experience, preferably in a soft goods apparel environment

o High School graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills

o Excellent customer service and sales experience

o Able to lead in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.

o Proficient knowledge in PC applications.

o Experience with retail POS/inventory control systems.

o Ability to maintain and lead a positive team morale.

o Strong ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure while meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.

o Must be able to work a minimum of 32-40 hours per week full-time, including early mornings, evenings/nights, weekends, and/or holidays as requested.

o Equestrian experience strongly preferred

May be required to attend outside events, seminars, etc. as needed.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions (Time spent standing, sitting, bending, lifting):

o Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.

o Frequently required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms.

o Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

o Visions requirements: close vision, distant vision, as well as ability to adjust and focus.
