Assistant Controller Job at Seaside Waste Services
Seaside Waste Services is a growing privately held waste service company with customers in counties in Southern New Jersey. We are looking for an Assistant Controller reporting to the CFO.
Responsibilities include:
Preparation and execution of Month End Journal entries
Maintain and develop internal controls and documentation accounting policies and procedures
Follow Generally Acceptable Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Management of Company Vendors and payments.
Execution of Accounts Payable transactions
Oversee operations of Billing, Accounts Receivable and Collection Team.
Ensure accurate weekly and monthly invoicing to customers
Support CFO in Financial Reporting and Analysis
Work in a team environment and across operational and financial functions of Seaside Waste Services.
Requirements:
Bachelor In Accounting with 5-10 years of experience of related experience, preferably in a service organization.
Able to work independently with limited supervision.
Strong Attention to detail and good organizational skills
Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
