Apple Spice is an innovative take on the traditional restaurant, focusing solely on catering and box lunch delivery to businesses. We are famous for our fresh baked, scratch made signature breads. With a clean, new kitchen, a stellar food production system, and “team first” mentality - this is the perfect opportunity for the right candidate.

• Job Type: Baker, Line Cook, Food Prep (ie. Deli, Sandwich, Salads, Hot & Cold Catering)
• Hours: Normally 3 am to 11 pm, Monday-Friday. Nights, Weekends, or Holidays off, except on rare occasions.
• Compensation: $14 - $16/hr plus tips ($16 - $20/hr with tips)
• Required Experience: Line Cook, Bread Baking, and/or Catering Kitchen Experience Preferred.

• Share in delivery tip pool. Tips can add $2 to $4 per hour.

Typical responsibilities include: Bake bread and prepare food on daily commissary report for boxed lunches, salads, side dishes, desserts, and hot and cold catering. Accurately weigh and portion food. Maintain a clean, orderly work area. Maintain a working inventory of supplies and food for prep. General cleaning, dish washing, sweeping, and mopping.

The best food specialists love being part of a system and understand the beauty that goes into building a dynamic kitchen. Must work well in a fast paced, positive team environment, have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Must pride themselves in providing food and service of the highest quality and consistency. One or more years cooking or baking experience preferred. Valid driver’s license in good standing is preferred. High School diploma or GED is preferred.
