SUMMARY

The Arby’s Crew Member is primarily responsible for providing exceptional customer service via taking customer orders and preparing food made to order. Team members must also ensure the dining room, food preparation areas, and areas behind the counter are clean and meet established standards. Overall, team members will work together to create a positive dining experience for every customer. Contingent upon shift, may be responsible for opening and closing duties.

DESCRIPTION

Title: Arby’s Crew Member

Work Schedule: Part-Time/On-Call/Non-exempt. Flexible shifts required (all days of the week and hours, holiday and special events). Work schedule is contingent and determined by business needs.

KEY ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute Wow! hospitality standards to ensure excellent customer service is carried out.
  • Meet or exceed Speed of Service Standards.
  • Ensure product served meets or exceeds established quality standards.
  • Conduct sales transactions in an efficient and timely manner. Ensuring accuracy of all transactions.
  • Abide by policy for requesting identification for credit card and check transactions;
  • Be efficient in cash handling, and maintain appropriate cash registers, ensuring funds exchanged are correct.
  • Dress in a clean and proper uniform via Dress Code Policy.
  • Replenish and rotate supplies.
  • Maintain Crystal Clean Customer View & work area.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the parking lot, lobby, kitchen counters, and restrooms.
  • Operate in accordance with established performance and operating standards per the OSM and handbook.
  • Follow all safety protocols established for food handling and work environment.
  • Abide by all applicable Tribal, state, and federal laws, as well as all department and enterprise policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including but not limited to customer assistance, cleaning, stocking, etc.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid Food Handlers card.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must work flexible shifts (all days of the week and hours, holidays, and special events).
  • Must complete required training to fully understand all aspects of this position.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a good record throughout duration of employment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, in addition to encompassing the ability to deal effectively with people in a multifaceted work environment.
  • Ability to work with a team and maintain professionalism with both customers and coworkers.
  • Maintain an attitude of flexibility that enables performance to exceed the parameters of this position description.

Additionally, the following are highly desirable:

  • First Aid and/or EMT Certification preferred.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Follow policy and procedures in emergency situations, i.e. theft, robbery, power outages, network and equipment failures, etc.
  • Abide by all safety guidelines and familiarize and follow all Tribal, Federal and applicable Washington State laws pertaining to convenience store operations.

COMPENSATION

Pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Benefits package includes personal time off (PTO) (accrual rate determined by years of service). Professional development opportunities are available contingent upon funding and approval.
