Job Summary
Under general supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop, modify, assist with and support upgrades and implementation - moderately complex information systems. a direct customer facing position responsible for providing a variety of support to solve application and interface problems considering application requests and limitations and desired results. Works with department customers for all uses of applications. May be requested to assist in design, some coding (such as scripting), testing, debugging, project support, upgrade support, daily operations, and documenting applications. Runs ad hoc reports, manages secure file transfers, and maintains assigned applications.

Responsibilities

1. Oversees all incoming tickets for team in a timely manner, working with all other agents to complete.
2. Manages Access Requests, Provider Confirmations and Password resets as needed.
3. Manages manual weekly, monthly, quarterly file transfers with our trading partners.
4. Assists customers with implementation, work-flow identification, and issue resolution of supported applications.
5. Assists developing rules in our ETL system to manage hundreds of automated file transfers.
6. Coordinates and works with others to update and manage IS2 documentation knowledge base. 7. Interfaces with Vendor counterparts to ensure support is timely.
8. Provides group and individual training when needed.
9. Provides system testing as part of new software releases / upgrades.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Education
1. Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred.

Experience
1. Three years of IT business/industry experience required.

1. Demonstrated experience with basic workstation software – i.e., Windows, MS Office, Adobe and Email.
2. Demonstrated analytical and diagnostic skills are required.
3. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

5. Reaches across groups within IS and across user communities to facilitate communications and rapport between all involved parties.
6. Exhibits Initiative, organization, and time utilization skills.

11. Effectively consults with DH IT personnel as needed.
12. Able to diagnose and solve problems often spanning multiple environments within variety of timelines while staying organized.
13. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills; documents and reports are clear and concise.
14. Must possess the ability to maintain composure in difficult and stressful situations.
15. Excellent written and oral communication abilities required.
16. Comfortable with not knowing everything. Not afraid to ask for help.
17. Intellectually curious and desires learning new things.
18. Applications Analyst must be highly organized, and will work with minimal supervision, interacting with all DHMP staff and Vendors. Candidate would be a primary face of the IS organization so strong relational customer service skills via all mediums a must.
