Your Role and Responsibilities

• Manage complex Application portfolio migration to Cloud or Hybrid Platform. Execute the Application Modernization Roadmap program, interfacing with Cloud, application, development, QA and BA teams
• Perform Application Disposition Analysis for Hybrid Multi-Cloud –
  • Execute methodology and practical experience across multiple platforms and technologies
  • Leverage tools like; CAST/CloudGenera, Flexera Cloudscape; etc…
• Advises clients on application development methodology and tools
• Perform as expert on application development for existing or new applications
• Guide and teach clients' team member and transition work to steady state team
• If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position $112,630 to $214,000 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
• If this is a sales role, you may be eligible for additional incentive compensation opportunities. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for Kyndryl’s Growth Driven Profit-Sharing plan.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 8+ years application development experience (.net, java, python, etc)
• 5+ years architecture, middleware and data experience
• 5+ years application migration to the cloud and cloud native development
• Ability to perform E2E design and solution on Application Modernization components
• Design and execute containerization analysis
• Advise on suitability for containerization (multiple tools)
• Perform Solution and Guidance on AKS/EKS etc target environment design
• Provide integration and coordination with infra and app CI/CD
• Experience with Micro-Focus, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, IDMS/Adabase, etc…
• Experience with data strategies like Hierarchical, VSAM to Relational, IMS to Db2, database replication, and data isolation
• Migration of existing workloads in-place, traditional mainframe, and hybrid-cloud platforms
• Experience in exposing application data to hybrid platforms; utilizing API’s, microservices; etc…
• Comprehensive Platform Modernization strategies like; Modernize in-place, ‘Wrap legacy’, Micro-services, Event Driven and Cloud native development.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Certification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS and Google GCP)
