An apartment complex is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to perform various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
An apartment complex is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to perform various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Duties:
Job Qualifications:
- Assist with the completion of all market-ready apartments
- Handle emergency and non-emergency service requests
- Perform various maintenance activities and community inspections
- Ensure the apartment community’s overall exterior is maintained
- Assist with the monitoring, controlling, and safeguarding of maintenance supplies
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred; Trade school and/or military training is a plus
- One to three years of verifiable hands-on plumbing, electrical, carpeting, painting, and carpentry experience is preferred with proficiency in at least one major area
- Must have own tools normally used in construction, maintenance, and landscaping
- Must have valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and insurance
- Must be comfortable working outside in all types of weather with prolonged standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Must have the ability to lift a maximum of 100 pounds with frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
