Services include child & adolescent psychiatric, medical, substance abuse, residential, Crisis Care and therapy services, as well as career development and wellness services. We are currently seeking a Full-Time AOD Specialist at Zepf Center
as part of the Opiate Treatment Program. The purpose of this position is to provide a wide range of community support and coordination of services to people experiencing drug and alcohol diagnoses to ensure their needs are addressed. The Specialist assists clients with the acquisition of community resources and the development of short and long-term goals. Services will be provided with respect and in accordance with client’s rights.


Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and the ability to adapt quickly to patients changing needs.
  • Provide therapeutic client-centered intervention included but limited to, service coordination, group/family counseling, recovery planning, as well as participation in care coordination/team meetings.
  • Assesses client strengths and needs. With the client, family and applicable team members, develops a care management plan with client centered goals. Monitors and evaluates client progress toward goal attainment.
  • Maintains contact with the client as indicated in the treatment plan or as needed to ensure stability at least every 90 days or less if required by regulatory bodies. Communicates with and provides support to clients in achieving goals and outcomes.
  • Links and/or refers clients to other services, programs, and agencies as needed. Assists in insuring clients obtain and retain applicable entitlements and follows up on same. Serve as an advocate for clients. With appropriate releases, communicates with family members and significant others as indicated. Assists with discharge planning and care coordination
  • Confers with supervisor and other team members regarding clients and as appropriate, with emphasis on provision of most appropriate, effective and cost-efficient services.
  • May provide face-to-face contact with clients who may be hospitalized to facilitate discharge planning and coordination of services.
  • Assists clients in tracking and keeping appointments.
  • Coordinate and perform urine screens as needed.
Requirements:
  • Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) Required
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Ability to bill Medicaid
  • Valid Driver’s License and Insurance

This is a full-time position - excellent wage, benefits, and retirement plan available.

Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
