Position Summary/Position

Under the direction of the BH & CM Management Team , the Analyst II – Behavioral Health & Care Management will provide support in the review, assessment, and development of business processes for all Behavioral Health & Care Management department programming. The scope of this role could span across the Behavioral Health & Care Management units and programs. This role is critical in providing analytical support to functional areas and units of BH & CM, Programs and initiatives, such as Housing, and Community Supports, including data analysis and reporting, contract management, budget oversight and the integration and development of LEAN methodology within the department. The Analyst II will work closely with the BH & CM Management Team, to develop and refine program strategies, acting as a liaison between teams both internally and externally. The Analyst II will help develop cross-functional collaborations, engage with external partners, and develop new program enhancements and various special reports and projects as needed. Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

1. Support the Management Team in the development and implementation of BH & CM initiatives.
2. Support program development for all of BH & CM units, including Housing, Community Supports, etc.
3. Work with the management team to implement and monitor the improvement/LEAN activities.
4. Facilitate the development of workflows for all BH & CM projects and update Policies and Procedures (PnPs) accordingly.
5. Assist with BH & CM department-level initiatives such as budget planning, Database management, Contract Intake and Renewal, and KPI tracking and reporting.
6. Assist in the development of business processes, planning and implementation to support BH & CM & Housing.
7. Function as a liaison between the BH & CM Department and other IEHP departments to collaborate and collect deliverables for IEHP meetings, workgroups and interdepartmental projects.
8. Compile data and conduct analysis of current business process and functional requirements into a cohesive and understandable written form for use in management decision-making.
9. Monitor BH & CM department compliance with regulatory and quality projects, deliverables, including by not limited to interdepartmental communication and data validation.
10. Collaborate with the HCI and IT departments on the development of systems to support our business and regulatory compliance needs.
11. Ensure adherence to compliance with company policies, rules and regulations relating to safety/health, performance standards, operating procedures, processes, and training requirements.
12. Proactively monitor, identify, and report opportunities for improvement and gaps in process or compliance standards timely. Experience Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a health plan setting having a project management role and experience performing an analytic function and building reports. Preferred Experience

Experience in the operational areas of and outreach and/or community programming a plus. Experience working with PowerBI, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and SSRS a plus. Experience building dynamic dashboards for reporting purposes and working with relational databases preferred. Education Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Policy, or related field from an accredited institution required. Drivers License Required Yes, must have a valid California Driver's License. Knowledge Requirement

Thorough knowledge of Medi-Cal and Medicare managed care. Must possess strong knowledge of project management and across-organization coordination. Skills Requirement

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Excellent writing, interpersonal communication, project management and organizational skills required. Highly analytical and capable of translating analytical insights into action. Strong time management skills. Abilities Requirement

Ability to work and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of organizations. Must have a high degree of patience and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment. Commitment to Team Culture

A reasonable salary expectation is between $70,012.80 and $89,273.60, based upon experience and internal equity.
