Overview:

The AmeriCredit Account Manager is responsible for sales, service, and support of assigned AmeriCredit franchise dealers and associated AmeriCredit Financial products. This team member`s overall responsibility will be to develop dealer relationships that generate loan contracts and ancillary product sales according to AmeriCredit’s established credit risk and profitability models.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Equip our dealers with the knowledge needed to maximize their use of the AmeriCredit programs
  • Manage and market assigned dealer relationships to achieve all quality, pricing, and volume objectives
  • Support and market all AmeriCredit Financial products
  • Maintain effective communication with dealers and appropriate internal partners
  • Strive to outperform expectations with a positive attitude

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A willingness to be a part of a great team
  • Ability to travel between AmeriCredit dealerships 90+% of the time and be home based
  • Deliver training and presentations to dealerships as needed
  • This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis
Responsibilities:

JOB DUTIES

  • Demonstrate the value proposition of AmeriCredit to assist the dealer to sell more new and used vehicles
  • Effectively manage and market assigned dealer relationships to achieve all quality, pricing, and volume objectives
  • Maintain effective communication with dealers and appropriate internal partners
  • Develop business plans to align with corporate goals
  • Achieve Field DRM key performance criteria
  • Act as a liaison between dealer and FundsNow to resolve any funding issues Work with the Funding Managers and Team Leaders
  • Analyze dealer-specific data using reporting tools and take appropriate action
  • Identify and resolve dealer issues presenting excessive risk to AmeriCredit, ie, portfolio issues, fraud, buy-back, dealer agreement violations, dealer personnel, etc.
  • Responsible for collection of monies owed to AmeriCredit
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Conform with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:

Knowledge (Preferred not Required)

  • Knowledge of consumer lending policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of dealership operations and indirect auto finance industry
  • Knowledge of marketing and operational trends and tactics
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Ability to professionally represent AmeriCredit
  • Able to meet deadlines and establish objectives
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work under pressure

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred


Experience

  • Prior B2B successful sales experience


Working Conditions

  • Some travel required
