We are 1201 Trucking Company, an Amazon Relay Delivery Contractor, looking to hire full-time and part-time Box Truck Delivery Associates to transport palletized freight from an Amazon Warehouse Facility to a rural area Post Office.

Relay Delivery Associates (RDA) work hard, but enjoy autonomy in their workday. We expect our ideal candidates to be self-driven, energetic, dependable, and exhibit professionalism. They must also be detail – oriented, adaptable/flexible, independent and punctual individuals while prioritizing high - on-time safety scores. We operate 7 days a week, 361 days a year.

You will be subject to the responsibilities of following company procedures while loading and delivering customer packages.

Average Day of a Relay Delivery Associate:

• A RDA's schedule will consist of taking loads of 1-5 stops per day, which include overnight, weekends and/or holidays. Dock-to-Dock type of deliveries with loading and unloading packages to and from the delivery vehicle.
• Safely drive and successfully complete safety inspections, as required my FMCSA and Department of Transportation on company vehicles
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies
• Successfully handle and deliver Amazon pallets ON TIME.
• Provide stellar customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions
• Communicate effectively with the support team to provide exceptional customer service and to ensure deliveries are completed
• Use a smartphone device for GPS Navigation, to scan packages, and to conduct administrative requirements
• Solve problems independently using critical thinking skills
• Behave responsibly and courteously towards others

Driver Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to perform in this position, you must:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Be at least 21 years of age and have a valid drivers’ license and DOT Medical Card
• Must have a Clean Motor Vehicle Report most recent 3 years –
• No major at fault accidents in the last 3 years
• No License suspensions in the last 3 years
• No DUI’S/vehicular homicide in the last 5 years
• Pass a comprehensive background check to include a 5 panel drug test
• Able to complete mandatory training of 3 DAYS prior to taking first load
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Prior Class B CDL experience preferred not required
• 1 year of similar driving experience (16 ft to 26 ft. Box Trucks) required
• Have a reliable Smart Phone and reliable transportation to get to pickup site
• Able to provide own Safety apparel - yellow safety vest and gloves

Physical Requirements:

• Lift a maximum of 50 pounds, to reorganize and compact loads
• Appropriately handle stressful driving demands including inclement weather conditions
• Climb stairs, reach overhead, squat/bend/kneel to move palletized freight around with operating a liftgate and pallet jack
• Be able to be A Night Owl, happy to Work Overnight Shift and drive for 8 hours. May have Day Time shift work available as RDA becomes tenured with company.
• Physically fit (Pallet Jack Palletized Freight) to load and unload a 26ft box truck

Benefits:

• Compensation starts at $100/load - $185/load (paid weekly)

• Routes that are under 100 miles will pay $100.00
• Routes that are 101 to 200 miles will pay $135.00
• Routes that are 201 to 270 miles will pay $150.00
• Routes that are 271 to 350 miles will pay $185.00
• Routes that are over 351 Miles will be paid at $0.50 per mile
• We do offer weekly and quarterly bonus incentive plans.
