  • Model and simulate circuit or system performance of dc-dc power converters and filters using analytical tools to ensure reliable circuit designs and resolve design challenges effectively.
  • Detailed design and analysis of discrete implementation of power converter control circuitry that is resistant to performance degradation due to radiation effects.
  • Filter modeling, analysis and design.
  • System integration, test and development of DC power conversion hardware for spaceflight and Hi-Rel applications.
  • Investigate and evaluate new power topologies and control for spaceflight applications.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that the designs meet the customers’ electrical, environmental as well as internal manufacturing requirements and standards.
  • Support internal concurrent design criteria.
  • Function as the technical interface for customers and attend technical meetings as required. Support specification development with customers.
  • Translate market specifications into design requirements. Generate design documentation required for prototype and/or production releases as required.
  • Document new designs per established guidelines including but not limited to simulations, test circuit measurements and tolerance analyses.
  • Provide appropriate input to the development of test procedures, fixtures and software.
  • Respond to market trends and requirements for product development specifications.
  • Provide error free and professional technical documentation, status reports and proposals.
  • Environmental and EMI/EMC Qualification testing as per DO-160 standards.
