*This position is a hybrid/remote position. If located in Arizona, near our Tempe office, this position requires working hybrid. If located too far from the office or outside of Arizona, this position is remote. We currently only hire in the following states; Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah or Wyoming.

Overview

The SDI Admissions Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the Admissions team members to meet and exceed their enrollment goals. This position will also help to ensure a high-quality student experience for SDI students by providing students with assistance through the process of inquiry to graduation. As an Admissions Coordinator, you will work closely with the Admissions leadership to provide a well-organized, high energy working environment for the Admissions team and ensure a positive student experience. This position requires strong interpersonal phone and computer skills, and the individual must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the liaison between the prospective student, Admissions, SDI Financial Services, Office of the Registrar
  • and Student Success to ensure a successful student experience.
  • Make at least 300 outbound calls per week to prospective students to identify interest, update the Student Information System (SIS) and warm transfer to the Admissions department.
  • Route emails, text messages and inquiries to the appropriate person and/or department.
  • Maintain and monitor the lead database effectively.
  • Monitor SDI’s Live Chat application, fielding questions and disbursing those messages to the appropriate department.
  • Assist in inputting data for the Admissions department into Anthology as needed, including maintaining data integrity.
  • Assist in the processing of enrollments, ensuring accuracy of all enrollment documents.
  • Support department members and students by assisting with the resetting of SDI student credentials.
  • Occasionally participate in outreach projects for lead generation as assigned by the Director of Admissions.
  • Adheres to all company and regulatory rules and requirements.
  • Ensures that all verbal and electronic interactions portray SDI’s programs and course offerings in a positive, professional way, free from misrepresentation and in line with the guidance of various regulatory agencies including DEAC, Department of Education, ATF, DOD, the State of Arizona, VA, and more.
  • Other duties as designated and assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Associate degree required/Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience in customer service and/or administrative roles.
  • Experience with student information systems, databases, or relationship management systems.
  • Familiarity with firearms is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Organized, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, working from a monitor, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse.
  • Required to stand for varying lengths of time.
  • Regular activities include moving around the office and walking to other departments throughout the building.
  • Occasional lifting required of up to 20 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
