Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY:
To assist with the administration of small to medium size clients in providing employee benefit solutions and customer service. Assist the technology team with the OneLink benefits administration portal by performing weekly and monthly maintenance activities. Maintain necessary level of knowledge to support team projects and handle client needs. Support the account management and consulting teams with initiatives, clients and projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Note: Duties will vary depending on the focus of the role, whether employee benefits or human resources.
  • Design and run weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports from the OneLink benefits administration portal as requested by clients and consultants.
  • Review weekly carrier post-feed reports for issues and take appropriate action in OneLink benefits administration portal. Work with consultants and account managers on updates to carrier systems.
  • Perform all responsibilities related to ACA hours tracking including uploading hours files from clients into OneLink, auditing hours data to ensure accuracy, and creating reports to advise clients of eligibility status of variable hour employees.
  • Create and renew benefit plans, onboarding tasks and open enrollment events for multiple clients concurrently.
  • Assist clients as needed with OneLink customer service needs, problem solving and trouble shooting.
  • Engage with Employee Navigator support team as needed via phone and email to resolve system issues affecting clients.
  • As applicable, work with new prospects and existing clients in the Small Group area, as well as with medium size clients to develop understanding of client needs and assist with benefit solutions. Coordinate the completion of any required account set up, project set up, enrollment paperwork and employee meetings and/or communications.
  • As applicable, work with clients to effectively process timely and accurate renewals. Gather the necessary information for renewals
  • Develop complete understanding of all benefit programs offered and underwriting guidelines of the various employee benefit Carriers, and as applicable, Maintain awareness of new products developed, program changes or laws and regulations that affect benefit programs or as applicable, labor and employment matters, and communicate their impact with clients.
  • Assist clients with all customer service needs, problem solving and trouble shooting. Act as the interface with carriers or other resources to resolve issues and to ensure that programs are working as expected.
  • Record sales, renewal and service activities and updates in OneGroup’s benefit administration system.
  • Assist internal account managers and consultants with existing client servicing and new business leads.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses for general benefits questions, Schedule regular meetings with clients and vendors.
  • Assist consultants with projects, trainings, renewals, product applications and contract paperwork as needed.
  • Assist consultants, account managers, and specialists with system related claim and enrollment issues and questions.
  • Participate in client calls and meetings.
  • Understand employee benefit, services and resources, including carrier and client tools.
  • Support the team on various projects and participate as contributing member of team in client initiatives.
  • Participate in sales initiatives and cross selling programs and marketing events.
  • Foster an environment that upholds the OneGroup Way.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
  • Two year degree required, Four year college degree preferred
Professional Certifications/Licenses:
  • NY Life and Health License preferred, if role is focused on Benefits
  • SHRM-CP preferred, if role is focused on HR Consulting
Experience/Skills:
  • 1+ year of experience in Benefits or HR preferred, depending on focus of role
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Skills in related technology, Microsoft office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Committed to providing excellent customer service
  • Work independently and be resourceful in supporting projects and tasks
  • Successfully manage multiple tasks/projects, meeting defined deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with team members

Other Job Information:
Hours: 40 hours/week
