The Administrative Coordinator will serve Clemson University Center for Agricultural Technology (CU-CAT) in a supportive capacity, leading efforts in scheduling, supporting business administration duties, managing accounting and documents, and other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:


30% - Essential - Business and Organizational Administrative Duties: Coordinates scheduling efforts and assists with preparation for CU-CAT meetings and the day-to-day logisitics as well as travel coordination. Assists with Concur process and training for the CU-CAT department.

20% - Essential - Document Management: Assists with Clemson internal reporting for Clemson Offices including compliance documents, procurement processes, and "SOW" Statement of Work creation for the Office of Industry Contract requirements.

20% - Essential - Basic Accounting duties: Manages basic accounting functions and works with REC and CAFLS accountants and admins to assist with purchasing, sponsoring, and managing expenses. Maintain and submit vehicle and inventory reports. Serves as HR and payroll liaison.

20% - Essential - Marketing Assistance: Maintains basic website updates, communicates with University Relations and CAFLS Marketing team for website updates. Manages regular social media account maintenance.

10% - Essential - Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


Education - High school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:


Education - Bachelor's Degree
Experience - 1 or more years of accounting experience and working within the Microsoft Suite products

Firm Job Knowledge - Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors Budget - Does not provide input but is responsible for monitoring the departmental budget and may oversee fund allocation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


Sit (stationary position) for prolonged period
Communicate, converse, give direction, express oneself

WORK SCHEDULE:


Standard Hrs: 37.5; Anticipated hiring range ($43,000.00 - $55,000.00)

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL


Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
