POSITION:
Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
Elmore, Hupp & Company, P.L.C. seeks a qualified candidate to join our accounting firm. This full time position offers a unique blend of customer service and administrative support. The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist must demonstrate initiative, organizational skills, mature judgement and attention to detail. The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Essential Job Functions:
Provide administrative support to the Partners and Accountants in a manner that optimizes efficiency, resources and professionalism
Format/Assemble Tax Returns, Financial Statements, Payroll, Estimates and other supporting documents
Typing: General Letters, Memos, Document Attachments, Fax, etc. in accordance with firm’s policies and procedures
Scanning and copying documents as required
Prepare correspondence , proofread and format documents using Microsoft Word, Excel and other accounting software programs
Process mail, assist with cash receipts and accounts receivable
Assist in maintaining firm’s databases and spreadsheets to be current and accurate
Work collaboratively to provide overflow and backup support for other team members
Other clerical duties as requested by Partners and Accountants
Receptionist:
Answering the Phone
Greeting and Assisting Clients
Scheduling Client Appointments
Kitchen Duty
Qualifications:
Experience in administrative support work, office practices and administrative procedures
Tech savvy with the ability and desire to embrace necessary software applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office 365, Excel and Word applications
Superior organizational and follow-through skills with strong attention given to detail and deadlines
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple assignments while prioritizing and planning completion
Ability to work independently with limited supervision as well as work cooperatively with the Partners and all team members
Hours:
Regular Business Hours - 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mid January through Tax Season - 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p. m.(extended hours as needed)
Saturday – Tax Season (possible) - 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
