POSITION PURPOSE

Administrative Assistant - The candidate is responsible for performing general clerical, receptionist and project based duties while projecting a professional company image through both in person and phone interaction. The position provides support to various departmental staff and the Special Assets Manager. The candidate will be responsible for making periodic collection phone calls on past due loans as well as following up with customers to clear loan exceptions. Responsibilities associated with Administrative and Collections are performed with limited supervision; operates independently and sets priorities to ensure timely completion of work assignments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Administrative Assistant to the Special Assets Manager.
Periodically supports the Special Assets group with administrative requests; may include organizing files, pulling credit bureau or Accurint reports, expense reports and creating/updating binders.

Performs general clerical duties including, but not limited to; photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing.
Orders supplies and print materials; such as business cards and letterhead.
Upload documents to the bank’s imaging system (Director).
Pull requested documents from the bank’s imaging system.
Receives, signs for, prepares and distributes UPS/FedEx packages and inter office mail; maintains mail supplies.
Sets up and coordinates meetings and conferences.
Contacts vendors as necessary for service needs.
Make collection calls on past due loans and to clear loan exceptions.
File/maintain Loss Mitigation requests, legal invoices, and misc. legal correspondence.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required:
Banking experience required
One to three years clerical experience or four plus year’s equivalent related working experience.
Skills/Abilities:
Moderate computer application skills; including Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Thorough knowledge of file maintenance, English grammar, appropriate standards regarding letters, memorandum, composition and proper telephone etiquette.
Basic reading and arithmetic skills.
Moderate interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Moderate organizational skills, or ability to prioritize and complete various tasks within deadlines.
