Administrative Assistant Job at Interagency Readiness Solutions Llc
Position is at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville PA working as an Administrative Assistant for Medical Case Management working for the soldiers of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
The administrative technician shall be expected to perform the listed duties below to include but not be limited to the following:
- Provide administrative support to the State Surgeons Office Case Management contract case manager personnel.
- Maintain and handle Soldier medical records in accordance with Army Regulation and Privacy Laws.
- Utilize military electronic medical record database and be proficient at scanning and filing electronic medical records.
- Perform data entry in electronic military medical databases.
- Assists case managers with medical records requests from civilian medical providers.
- Review correspondence for format accuracy and content in accordance with Army regulation.
- Tactfully communicate with Soldiers and other office staff within the PAARNG and civilian medical community on related medical issues.
- Will readily communicate with Soldiers concerning multiple issues involved with patient care and case management.
- Will be familiar with Military workers compensation programs.
- Will attend various meetings if needed in order to ensure all medical documentation is provided concerning a Soldiers medical condition and if additional medical documents are required, assist with document retrieval.
- Works with the Occupational Health Nurse.
- Will validate paper and electronic medical records when a Soldier leaves the PAARNG.
- Must have excellent communication skills. Will work with Microsoft Outlook daily to manage work flow through email communication. The majority of daily work is completed electronically.
