The Role You Play

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an evidence-based practice that is designed to provide comprehensive treatment and support services to people with a serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI). We are looking for a great leader to help spearhead this program, managing an interdisciplinary team providing services in the most integrated setting possible. This manager is also responsible for working with the vision of the agency as a whole and helping guide it as a member of our Leadership Team.

  • The Day-to-Day
    • Manage program performance and ensure that medically necessary services are being provided
    • Coordinate and integrate ACT program services with the rest of the agency
    • Hire, supervise, train, and evaluate a qualified, interdisciplinary staff
    • Ensure program compliance as detailed in state requirements and by evidence-based practice models
  • Other Duties as Assigned
    • Work with the Community Services Director and other management staff to program plan, problem solve, and advise on short- and long-term goals
    • Utilize appropriate administrative teams (billing, accounting, QA, IT, HR, ect) to assist with the management of the program
    • Build and maintain effective working relationships with outside referral sources and community agencies

Who You Are

This is a management position, and the ideal applicant will need a demonstrated history of effective management and conflict resolution skills. Youll also need a proven ability to visualize, strategize, and achieve your goals. Most importantly, youll need to bring a passion for your community and the work we do to assist our patients.

  • Required
    • A Master's degree in any field is required
      • QMHP and/or Master's in a human services field preferred
    • Experience in a combined substance abuse and mental health treatment system is required
    • Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language
    • Basic personal computer skills
    • Valid drivers license and automobile liability insurance
  • Preferred
    • 1+ years supervisory experience
    • Prior experience working with the criminal justice system
    • Experience with Microsoft Office software

Results of criminal and all other applicable background checks must meet the approval of Pawnee Mental Health Services.
