Accounts Payable Clerk - FT - Administration
Join our Team! Ward Memorial Hospital is committed to provide primary and certain specialty services with high quality care, concern, dedication to the improvement of our facility.

Reporting and accountable to the Controller, the AP Clerk is responsible for entering and generating checks for Accounts Payable. The clerk is responsible for verifying the accurateness of invoices and information entered into both accounting modules. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to deal with other departments.
Proficient in data entry and knowledge of general office duties.
Must possess knowledge of accounting as it relates to accounts receivables, accounts payable and payroll.

Education and/or experience:
Working knowledge of computer systems.
Three year's experience in accounts payable and payroll with two years in a healthcare related field preferred.
No technical training, licensure or certifications required.
