The role:

Directing a team of 8 Accounts Specialists and Assistants, you will have the opportunity to establish yourself as a leader in a global organization, redefining and implementing processes to make an impact on our Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) function. This outstanding position offers a great balance between leadership and technical expertise!

What you will be doing:

• Consistently reporting on AP and AR metrics to highlight achievements and opportunities against goals, and further develop the integrity of cash flow forecasts
• Building efficient supplier invoice queues to deliver timely payments
• Supporting the team to deliver excellence service with customer inquiries, refunds, and commissions queues
• Reconciling supplier and customer accounts that require impeccable attention to detail, collaborating with operations and sales teams to achieve the best outcome
• Managing month-end processes to ensure journal entries and reconciliations are completed timely and in accordance with corporate time frames
• Assisting in quarterly reviews, periodic audits, and prepare audit schedules, as necessary

What we are looking for:

• Global leadership experience with an Accounting or Finance qualification at degree level or equivalent - CPA preferred
• Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience of being flexible, and adaptable to change, remaining proactive and resourceful
• The highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty, and strong work ethic
• Experience with accounting / ERP systems and solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS is desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent internal and external customer service
