Slice Merchant Services is seeking a driven and ambitious Accounting Manager//Finance Manager who will be working closely with our CFO on all aspects of finance and accounting. This individual MUST be Enthusiastic and take pride in their work.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for managing accounting functions with focus on timeliness and accuracy of AP/AR, financial statement, account reconciliations, taxation, and government filing. The role must be hands-on and requires communications skills and understanding in business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 3 assistant bookkeepers that handle the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for the company
  • Support/oversee overall accounting processes, month end close, audits, A/P & A/R
  • Prepare/Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Conduct General Ledger review
  • Prepare month end reports, including inventory aging report and AP/AR aging report
  • Review/Authorize outgoing payments through ACH/Wire
  • Prepare summary reports
  • Prepare weekly cash log and monthly cash forecast report
  • Assist with monthly and annual budgets as well as forecasting processes
  • Assist in the creation of monthly account analysis reports that will aid in the understanding and reporting of monthly financials to management.
  • Identify areas of improvement within the current workflows and processes. Look for ways to automate and/or reduce manual interaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience preferably in a Fintech organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • High level of knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Possess strong Microsoft Office suite application experience
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and operational skills along with management of sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience with Financial Reporting and cash flow forecasting
  • Possess polished written and verbal communication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
