The Opportunity:

Under the direction of the VP of Finance and Corporate Administration, the Accounting Manager supports all corporate accounting business requirements and a team of five. In this role, you will demonstrate your leadership to the accounting team, execute proven analytical skills, and deliver all required accounting requirements by utilizing systems and software to prepare and finalize financial statements adhering to the FASB. In this role, you will create a positive, inclusive, and diverse cultural experience emphasizing the empowerment of people, quality, and continuous improvement.

Your Role: Accounting Manager

Reports To: VP Finance and Corporate Administration

Your Impact:

  • Prepares and reviews ledger entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and assist with regulatory reporting as required.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders and support operational initiatives.
  • Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.
  • Hiring, developing, and guiding team.
  • Protects organizational value by maintaining confidentiality.
  • Developing and elevating staff and promoting a supportive environment.

Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in related field.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Financial reporting requirements
