Account Program Manager II

San Jose, CA

Your Role:

You will be primarily responsible for support of commercial operations for contract manufacturing activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Serve as point of contact for assigned customer accounts and programs.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with customer accounts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope and business strategy into program objectives, plans, timelines and budgets.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
• Monitor status of customer projects and milestones and provide routine updates to customer.
• Serve as the link of communication as needed between customers and internal teams.
• Assist new business opportunities with existing customer accounts.
• Prepare customer reports and KPIs for individual accounts.
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
• Monitor and maintain program metrics based on contract requirements and scope change to ensure project performance.
• Develop and communicate clear program expectations; provide clear and timely feedback and escalate to resource managers when appropriate.
• Coordinate and drive team meetings and deliver timely and accurate meeting recaps and status.
• Ensure program documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Create a positive environment by working collaboratively, energizing others and encouraging continuous improvement from project teams.

Requirements:

• B.S. or M.S. Degree in a science-related discipline, with a minimum 4 years commercial contract/project management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be proficient in a wide range of project or contract management skills, including maintenance of complex schedules, development and management of project budget, change control, cross-team leadership, risk mitigation and internal/external communications.
• Previous Biotechnology research and development plus GMP experience is preferred.

The anticipated base salary range has been established at $121,306-$181,958/year. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above salary range represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, plus a 401(k) plan. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
