Account Executive - Central , Trust Solutions Group


POSITION SUMMARY:


We are looking for a highly motivated, performance-driven strategic Account Executive to be part of DigiCert's Trust Solutions Group (PKI). This role is key to increasing revenue by managing and negotiating the whole sales cycle of new business opportunities, from developing new opportunities, qualifying the buying process and closing the deals.


As a highly motivated, performance-driven Account Executive you will be responsible for generating new revenue for DigiCert's Trust Solutions Group in your assigned territory. You will be tasked with the sale of Digicert products to customers within a specific geographical region.


You must be able to translate technical specifications into business benefits that resonate with all levels of IT Management, from CISOs to PKI administrators, including Enterprise customers and Partners. In order to be effective in this role, you need to show exceptional knowledge of your target audience, existing competitors and industry trends in order to come up with the data needed for a winning campaign.


This role is critical to achieving our sales and growth targets. This role requires entrepreneurial sales execution to drive high growth in your territory. You will collaborate closely with Account Managers and Sales Engineers associated with your territory. High level of initiative and working well in a fast-paced team environment is key.


Candidates must demonstrate a strong bias for action, accountability, and drive to resolution with deep experience in solution selling. Strong expertise in Enterprise software selling with an entrepreneurial orientation is essential. Candidates must have a strong track record of delivering against financial objectives.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Develop sales strategies and attract new clients and cultivate, develop and coordinate the full sales cycle. This individual will source new sales opportunities, will self-generate leads, and will negotiate and close sales to achieve quotas.
  • Develop business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing information, and guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities.

WHAT YOU HAVE:


  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a sales position, preferably for an Enterprise technology company generating new business opportunities within large enterprise customers.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, sales, management or a similar subject
  • Track record of generating business leads, negotiating, and closing, & over-achieving quota.
  • Experience with complex Solution Selling sales cycles with security solution sales.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar accounts, portfolios and projects.
  • Established executive level relationships that can be leveraged for sales prospecting.
  • Adept in managing strong channel partner and client relationships.
  • Proficient with computer and with LinkedIn, SalesForce, RainKing and MS Office Products.
  • Forecast sales, report and provide feedback to management.
  • Self-motivated and driven, displays initiative and creativity.
  • Ability to analyze, assess and address customer's needs.
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated with positive energy and drive representing DigiCert in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments.
  • Uses effective resources and time management techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal and relationship skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively and independently in a demanding, fast pace, ever changing sales team environment. Ability to use initiative, creativity and think quickly in order to close a sale
