We are seeking two full-time access control personnel for a high rise condominium in South Tampa.

This position requires applicants to be able to successfully perform all duties outlined below. We are currently hiring for 1st shift (8:00 am - 4:00 pm) and 3rd shift (12:00 am - 8:00 am).

We are a drug free workplace and all employees must submit to a complete drug and background screening.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

(To Be Used in Conjunction with Post Orders)

1: Answer phones immediately when they ring, be efficient and exercise due diligence.

2: Scan driveway for incoming traffic and process all vehicles in a timely manner.

3: Greet all guests and always try and open the door for them.

4: Collect license plate data and enter driving guests into Building Link and vehicle log before directing drivers to parking. Provide Towers parking permit always.

5: Provide access control and direction to contractors after verification and log-in. Give direction regarding parking, moving equipment, locking elevators, etc., in the absence of maintenance personnel. *Remember: Contractors are never permitted to park in the parking garage.

6: Maintain log of all guests, contractors, etc.

7: Utilize CCTVs to observe activity around the building, recognize suspicious activity and act accordingly within guidelines.

8: Maintain thorough and accurate shift logs in Building Link.

9: Charge and always cany two-way radios to remain in communication with other Towers personnel.

10: Verify and check-in all walk-up guests with residents prior to entry (see separate sheet). Always call the resident to inform them their guest is here. If necessary, provide elevator access/codes as needed.

11: Escort and fob guests up elevators, when necessary, after log-in.

12: Pick up any debris left in the garage and lobby areas to help maintain the appearance of the building.

13: Always maintain a clean and professional appearance with proper uniform, name tag and good hygiene.

14: Tag vehicles not in compliance with TOC parking guidelines.

15: Keep driveway clear of debris for entering/exiting vehicles.

16: Direct all drivers to the correct parking areas in accordance with TOC parking guidelines.

17: Turn away any guests that are not clear to enter TOC.

18: Ensure that the access control desk is always covered by a trained access control or resident concierge.

19: Direct overflow parking to the Channelside Parking Garage /12th Street garage when ours is full.

20: Work closely with Towers personnel to coordinate moves, deliveries, and shift coverage.

21: Notify residents and/or guests who are not following Rules and Regulations of proper policy, asking them to follow it.

22: Check elevators twice each shift to be sure they are operating.

23: Check tunnels and gates as directed throughout the shift. 24: Inspect floors 1-4 every 3 hours (garage and garage lobbies). 25: If available, contact janitorial for assistance when necessary.

26: During emergency situations, follow legal and internal protocol for emergency service personnel and vehicles to prioritize residents' safety.

Closing Times for Amenities:

If you see anyone at either one of these locations past the time they close, make sure they leave the area asap. If the resident or visitor does not leave, file an incident report and management will address the situation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
