Special Education 1:1 ABA Tutor Opening for the 2023 / 2024 School Year Full-Time, School YearThe Milton School District is seeking an ABA Tutor for our Partner Program. The candidate should be a quick learner, a team player, and an effective communicator. We are searching for individuals who have a passion for special education and can connect with students and staff. Through our Partner Program, the Milton School District will train the successful applicant.
Qualifications: Have the ability to relate to and work with disabled children.Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative.Exhibit a personality that shows interpersonal skills to connect well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community. RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direct supervision of the Lead Teacher, the Tutor Shall: Assist the students with all instructional and non-instructional tasks as assigned by the teacher. Collect Data, Use Student Program Books, and Share updates with staff. Assist the students with the preparation of all materials and books.Use computers and/or electronic equipment to fulfill job functions.
Serve as a role model for students and staff in demonstrating positive attitudes and effective work ethic.Participate in appropriate in-service and workshop programs and attend any required meetings.Display ethical behavior in working with students, parents, school personnel, and outside agencies associated with the school.Protect the confidentiality of records and information gained as part of exercising professional duties and use discretion in sharing such information within legal confines.
