Fair-Play Corporation is an industry leading manufacturer of LED video displays, digital signage, and scoreboards. Our Hazelwood, MO location is looking a talented individual for our A/R Specialist position.

Job Overview:

A/R Specialist will perform daily invoicing, track and follow up on delinquent accounts receivable, and calculate month AR KPI’s.

Responsibilities:

• The AR Specialist will perform daily invoicing and cash receipt processing, including posting of receipts from customers as well as other miscellaneous cash receipts.
• Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments.
• Identify and contact delinquent customers to arrange debt payoffs.
• Keep accurate records and report on collection activity on a regular basis.
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders, customer statements, and contacting clients.
• Calculate key accounts receivable metrics (Turnover in Days, Average Days Outstanding, etc).
• Sale tax filings.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education, Experience, Training, and Knowledge:

• Proven working experience as accounts receivable clerk, accounts receivable manager, or accountant
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
• Customer service orientation and good communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Associate degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight reporting deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
