Warehouse Associate

Job Overview

At Home Zone, we pride ourselves on our ability to offer the best value in home furniture and top-notch service to our guests. Our Furniture unloading position requires great attention to detail and a tireless work ethic to facilitate the movement of furniture throughout the warehouse daily.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude always.

• Correctly identify, stack, organize, and label items being unloaded from containers.

• Help unload multiple containers of furniture as a team.

• Help move and rearrange product in bins.

• Keep the all docks, product bins, and staging area clean and free of debris

• Effectively communicate and coordinate with co-workers of various teams.

• Invite, accept, and be able to improve job performance based on feedback through one-on-one coaching sessions and team meetings.

• Communicate with team leads on any missing pieces once the container is completely unloaded.

• Show up on-time with regular and reliable attendance.

• When tasks are completed help other teams load/ organize

• Provide feedback to improve company productivity and operations.

Qualifications

• The ability to multi-task while paying great attention to detail

• The ability to be on your feet for over 10 hours a day

• High School Diploma/GED

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Valid driver’s license and transportation to and from work

• The availability to work a flexible schedule – including weekends and evenings

• Clean background - we have one of the most thorough background checks in the industry

• The ability to remain focused in an active environment

• The ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
