1 to 1 Instructional Assistant/Assistant Teacher - Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program Norton Job at READS Collaborative
Instructional assistant working within an educational collaborative program Deaf & Hard of Hearing student in Norton, MA. The program is located within the public school setting and has a full range of educational programming for DHH students. The 1:1 instructional assistant works within a class under the supervision of the classroom teacher. Responsible for duties and assignments as directed by the classroom teacher.
This position is for substituting for this academic year. The substitute is needed when the teachers' are attending meetings, when staff are absent and when extra staffing is needed for special events. There are multiple staff in classrooms, so, the substitute is not expected to manage a class independently. *Consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), READS Collaborative will provide reasonable accommodation when requested by a qualified applicant or employee with a disability.
