Position Title: Yard Support

Reports To: Service Manager

OVERVIEW:

C.N. Wood has been growing in New England since 1964, and has become the trusted choice for off-road machinery and municipal equipment markets. At. C.N. Wood we carry the latest machines from the finest manufacturers in the industry.

We are looking for Yard Support for our Pine Bush, NY team!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and detail equipment with a high-powered pressure wash system
• High level of detail and quality of work with high customer satisfaction
• Moving equipment within the yard, to and from the wash area
• Assist with incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Assist in fueling equipment or other support duties as assigned
• Assist in keeping the shop clean by performing such duties as, emptying garbage cans, sweeping the floor etc.
• Must maintain a clean and safe work area
• Must wear necessary PPE when using wash equipment and follow all safety requirements when operating equipment

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / ATTRIBUTES

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Hard worker with attention to detail
• Ability to organize and prioritize
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• Certified to operate forklifts and rough terrain forklifts preferred (can train if needed)
• Familiarity with the heavy equipment industry preferred
• Must be able to pass a post-offer drug screen, physical and background screen
• Proficient with general computer usage and smartphone

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, climb equipment steps or ladders, and/or walk around the yard as needed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Noise level is usually moderate
• Must work outside and be subject to adverse weather conditions

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
