Worship Leader Job at Eaton Church of God
The Worship Leader will be one called by God with a passion for worship and music. The Worship Leader will work with the Lead Pastor to plan, organize, and lead worship musically Sunday mornings, including both contemporary worship songs and popular hymns.
This is a Part-Time position, approximately 10-12 hours per week. The Worship Leader will be present Sunday mornings from 8:30am-12pm as well as scheduled practices (at the Worship Leader’s discretion in coordination with the worship team) throughout the week as well as regular meetings with the Lead Pastor.
- Work closely with the Lead Pastor in the planning and execution of music for weekly worship services, as well as any special worship services
- Assist Lead Pastor in pastoral care, particularly for those involved in worship team
- Recruit, schedule, disciple, and oversee musicians, vocalists, sound technicians
- Manage the use and reliability of musical instruments and other equipment used by worship teams
- Direct regular practices with musicians and vocalists
- Possess knowledge of sound, light, Planning Center Services, & ProPresenter is preferred
- Maintain and steward worship ministry budget
