GENERAL FUNCTION

OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation is seeking an experienced development professional to serve as Workplace Giving & Donor Relations Lead. This position operates a crucial role within the foundation’s corporate development team. A primary focus within this position will be to implement industry best practices into existing workplace giving campaigns among key foundation corporate partners, while simultaneously looking to steward existing donors and grow foundation revenue sources by expanding workplace giving partnerships. Ideal candidates will have experience assisting with and optimizing charitable giving campaigns and operating within the corporate space.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead workplace giving activities related to EssilorLuxottica, its corporate subsidiaries and their employees
  • Develop and execute an annual donor stewardship strategy that contains donor giving levels, associated benefits, communications plans, administrative functions, etc.
  • Carry a portfolio of corporate partners, establishing relationships with key contacts and developing customized on-ramps for engagement
  • Lead implementation of donor acknowledgement program, including gift recording, timely communication, tracking pledges, and sending reminders
  • Present on behalf of the foundation to various audiences, including new hire orientations, manager trainings, volunteers, employee resource groups, etc.
  • Coordinate with communications and programs team on the design and creation of custom content, stories of impact and collateral materials to be used in donor stewardship communications and workplace giving campaigns
  • Input personal and donation information into data management software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Report on campaign progress and review donor trends to create strategies that maximize revenue


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple detailed priorities and take initiative with minimal supervision
  • A disciplined self-starter mentality, being capable of working remotely while setting and achieving work goals
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills that are effective in the diverse range of audiences contained within the corporate space
  • A professional demeanor with an aptitude for strategic thinking and problem solving
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to occasionally travel to support domestic program events
  • Enthusiasm, positive attitude and sense of humor
  • 3+ years demonstrated success and experience as a part of a professional fundraising team
  • Willing to travel and work irregular hours as needed
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 360, Salesforce or similar data management platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in corporate fundraising and donor stewardship
  • Experience in public speaking
  • Experience building and executing communication strategies for donor stewardship
