Job Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic thought leadership and hands on tactical support for the Client team and 3rd party implementation partner supporting the technical workstreams.
• Serve as the Workday reporting lead and be Primary Point of Contact between client project team and implementation partner.
• Co-lead all tasks from planning, fit-gap analysis, from planning, through to design test and delivery of reports.
• Lead the clients and implementation partner in planning, coordination, and administration of reporting and security workstream tasks, activities and deliverables.
• Support client with requirements and data gathering, documentation, data analysis, prioritization, future proofed design and best practice recommendations throughout the project.
• Responsible for leading and performing designing, report writing and testing, dashboard and grid configuration; creating and testing rules and validations and training, troubleshooting, coaching the client team.
• Perform report and regression testing, potential business process impact; recommend areas for improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Workday Reporting experience
• 2-3 years of strong Workday reporting lead (report writer, advanced, composite, matrix, EIBs, calc fields, PRIMS, BIRT, iLoads) most recently in a Sr. Consultant or Senior Developer or Lead role.

Senior Consultant / Tech Analyst skills:

• Self-motivated, customer-focused professional
• Experience handling confidential information and strong MS Excel/report writing experience
• Demonstrated ability to gather and track all reporting and security requirements and manage project scope and client expectations
• Demonstrated follow-through on assignments and issue resolution
• Engage with all project stakeholders to build teamwork and develop trust and confidence
• Produce quality deliverables that need little refinement or oversight
• Possess clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to handle ambiguity, embrace change, and effectively manage a multitude of priorities (both long and short term).
• Strong analytic, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Innovative and a self-starter that takes initiative and meets critical deadlines.
• Exercises independent judgment and discretion in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
• Natural tendency to validate data results to ensure accuracy in reports

Required Technical Skills:

• 4+ years of IT Technical professional experience in Workday, HRIS or FIN ERP systems.
• Strong Workday reporting (report writer, advanced, composite, matrix, EIBs, calc fields, Prism, BIRT)
• Workday security configuration experience to manage troubleshooting of domain security to resolve field level security for reports if any.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead requirements and design sessions, rationalize report requirements and design, recommend workday standard reports where possible, iteratively prototype and deliver reports, coach new developers, troubleshoot and resolve their reporting issues.

Desired Skills:

• Workday Certified
• Integration experience with XSLT, BIRT, Workday EIB, Studio, Core Connector, Cloud Connector
• Prism experience

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree
