WINTER: Dishwasher Job at National Winter Activity Center
Position:
Dishwasher (Full-Time and Part-Time)
Season:
Winter (November 2022- March 2023)
Reports to:
Louise Kolaja, Director of Food and Beverage
Position Purpose:
The role of a dishwasher is to maintain a clean environment throughout the food and beverage areas to ensure safety of the kitchen and has the ability to keep up with tasks at hand when needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Familiar with basic kitchen safety.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be punctual, reliable, able to follow instructions.
- Work as part of a team,
- Ability to work varied shift hours, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Bus tables and tray drop off areas.
- Rinse and clean kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and trays.
- Operate a dishwasher.
- Maintain dishwash area to be free of slip hazards.
- Perform other duties as needed, under supervision of Kitchen Manager.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
- Frequent standing for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and move objects of up to 25 lbs. as required.
