Responsibilities of the Training Manager:

The Training Manager is an experienced, integral part of the Management Team who oversees our caregiving staff & client cases while ensuring that:

• Clients & families are 100% satisfied with the quality of care received.
• Their team and staff's individual performances are monitored, reviewed and managed to ensure their responsibilities are met, and all company procedures, protocols, and policies are followed in a proper & effective manner.

Position Requirements:

• MUST live on Maui
• Must be on a Weekend schedule with a 48-hour availability
• Experience Needed: LPN, RN or CNA
• Must be highly proficient and able to perform, know and teach all Nurse Aide skills
• Must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and be willing to commute island-wide wherever client(s) reside.
• Must pass a thorough background check.
• Must have a vaccination card.

Overview Of Basic Responsibilities and Services Include:

• Daily Management of Assigned Client Caseload
• Timely Communication of Updates to aides, clients and client’s family
• Communication with the General Manager (Supervisor for managers)
• Direct/Hands-on Care As-Needed In Emergencies - Bonus Pay for emergency coverage outside of normal work schedule
• Assist In Preparation of Client’s Home in case of a natural threat
• Prepare Staff For Emergencies
• Daily Reading Client Charts / Documentation/Record Keeping
• Follow Up with Clients and Staff
• Complete Paperwork During Initial Meetings
• After Hours Phone Support
• Client Drop-Bys
• Plan of Care (POC) Development and Reassessment
• Staff Updates / Supervisor Log Notes
• Assure Quality of Client Care / Staff Performance Assessments
• Client & Employee Advocacy
• Facilitate and Oversee Training for Caregivers at Client Location
• Attend All Mandatory Training
• Maintain HIPAA Compliance

** The Manager is required to sit or stand for long periods of time; frequently walk, kneel, lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The employee must also occasionally be able to push wheelchairs with heavier patients, talk and listen for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
