Home Instead is looking for Live-In Caregivers with weekend availability to join our team! Enjoy paid training, a flexible schedule, and 24/7 office support while providing care for a senior in their home.
Live-In Caregivers stay with their clients for 2-4 days at a time.
You will have a client within the following suburbs: Elk Grove Village, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Mount Prospect, Rolling Meadows, Hoffman Estates, Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Glendale Heights, Hanover Park, Itasca, Streamwood, Bensenville, and Wood Dale.
Care Professional Job Requirements:
- Weekend availability
- Possess a valid driver's license or state ID
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to speak and understand English
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Incontinence experience required
- Shower / bathing experience required
- Gait belt experience required
- Hoyer lift experience a plus (paid training available!)
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Assistance with transferring and mobility
- Alzheimer's Care
