Our new Weatherization Technician will be a part of our home performance team working to improve our customer's residential energy efficiency. Full Job Description

Our Weatherization Technician will be expected to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work available. We are offering $20-$25 per hour based on skills and/or experience. The responsibilities of this role are as follows:

• Perform pipe insulation, weatherization, LED bulb replacement, refrigerator replacement, hot water heater replacement, thermostat installation, air sealing, and heating/cooling.
• Perform a physically demanding role, which includes entering small, tight, spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
• Receive hands-on, top-notch learning experience from certified professionals.
• Promote a positive and professional manner upon entering a customer’s home.

Qualifications for our Weatherization Technician:

• Passion for learning more about saving the planet and ways to improve our energy usage.
• Must be serious about learning and willing to work hard.
• Must be able to work in a high volume/high demand environment.
• Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be comfortable working with hand tools.
• Must follow all safety protocols.
• Possess strong work ethic and integrity.
• Ability to pass a Background and Drug Test
• Ability to obtain information quickly
• At least 1 year of construction/ Skilled Labor experience
• Must have a valid Drivers License
• Skills in carpentry, framing, some plumbing, retrofits are a plus.
