Applicants should have a strong ability to interpret basic principles of health and fitness to others. The position leads water fitness classes and the instructor must exemplify a healthy lifestyle in accordance to accepted industry standards.
Entry Requirements:
- Minimum age 16-years-old
- Current Water Fitness Instructor, CPR and First Aid certifications.
- ACSM, ACE, NDEITA, or AAFA certification or strong background in physical fitness with a willingness to become YMCA certified
- Knowledge and interest in exercise
- Strong people skills, enthusiam and commitment to the area of fitness.
