• Shipping Management System administrator: responsible for the systems administration for SFO, and CDC Including: updating the carrier discounts and fuel surcharges, adding new carriers, changing services, etc.
• Get Paid Owner: responsible for resolving all freight issues for SFO. Processing bill backs/credits as required.
• Responsible for Freight Invoice coding and monitoring the freight payment process through CTSI.
• Owner of Census report of each SFO shipping floor every 5 years.
• Maintain inbound and outbound routing guides for IP locations, maintaining IPG 955, ISO procedure current, maintain the SFO distributor list and maintain the G/L Account spreadsheets for ITT TDS with Traffic Manager (Audits)
• Responsible for annual document storage and retrieval as necessary
• Respond to various requests for transportation information; participate in problem resolution;
• Assist in management of freight budget. Examine opportunities for reducing the freight expenditure and improving carrier service levels, including TDS approvals as time permits.
• Assist the Traffic Manager and Logistics Mgr with projects as assigned and with daily operations as needed.
• Claim Specialist – process freight claims as required; working with sales, warranty, and carriers as applicable for SFO and DST centers as required.
• International Inbound Shipments (Ocean/Air)
• Responsible for the day-to-day transportation requirements of the Seneca Falls shipping and receiving areas. Expedite inbound and outbound shipments as required.
• Responsible for providing information for numerous requests: Proofs of delivery, Freight Invoices, Quotes, Copies of Bills of Lading, etc. to be provided within 48 hours of request 98% of the time.
• Work with Customer Service to coordinate pickup and delivery as required.
• Support SAP SME’s, Shipping Floors and Export Documents Specialists when necessary
