Warehouse Worker Job at Bison USA
The Warehouse Assistant (WCSA) is responsible for performing duties dealing with the day-to-day coordination of warehouse, freight, and truck movement. In supporting their team, the CSA will have routine customer contact and be able to execute detailed and administrative work.
Must have forklift experience.
Order Entry/Order Acceptance:
- The CSA is accountable to enter designated inbound orders for the Warehouse, confirming all details are updated and the orders are complete for dispatch with all necessary information.
- The CSA is to accept customer orders under pre-determined guidelines from the regional Customer Service Supervisor.
Tracing:
- The CSA is responsible for updating customers on the status of shipments as requested and producing and distributing regular reports of status for selected accounts.
- In the direction of the planning team, the CSA must communicate with customers to confirm when shipments are ready, scheduled to deliver, ETA of the truck, etc.
Appointment Booking:
- The CSA is accountable to ensure all shipping and delivery appointments are secured and updated in the system within the prescribed lead time.
- The CSA must build relationships with shippers and consignees to manage appointment scheduling that meets the needs of the customer as well as Bison’s operation.
Must have forklift experience.
Knowledge of warehouse operations.
Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Highschool diploma or equivalent needed.
