Summary of Objective:
Responsible for operating various types of PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) to move and locate pallets of pharmaceutical product and components. Also responsible for loading and unloading trucks, put away of received pallets, retrieve materials for production operators, and assisting in cycle counting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.
Must be licensed on all power equipment (forklifts, etc) Retrieve materials from the pallet racking system as required on a material requisition form (MRF). Correctly scan materials with RF scanner. Place pallet in correct drop off area for Material Handler to pick up. Coordinate material priority through effective communication with the Material Handlers and the Warehouse Manager Store material that has been received returned to stock neatly in the racking system. Ensure that all materials are correctly wrapped, stacked, and identified with a load tag. Must be willing to work in refrigerator and freezer environments This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills
  • Basic Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic computer tasks and has the ability to operate common computer programs.
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.
  • Other Required Skills.
