Arrow International, Inc. is seeking to add an experienced Warehouse Supervisor within our Visual team based in Cleveland, Ohio. This position is a 1st shift and full time job.

Principal Objectives:

• Manage the order picking operations for all customer orders shipping from Niagara Falls.
• Improve service on all product lines to provide same day shipment of all orders entered by noon and next day shipment on all other orders.
• Maintain all finished goods, WIP, and raw material inventories at 99%+ accuracy.
• Continually improve efficiency of the warehouse staff.

Specific Accountabilities:

• Provide daily report on incoming orders, outgoing shipments, backlog status, and daily production of the order picking areas.
• Ensure that a disciplined and organized cycle count program is followed for all inventories.
• Train and develop direct reports to enhance their supervisory skills.
• Set specific goals and measurements for warehouse workforce and report results.
• Develop and maintain high standards for warehouse cleanliness.
• Continually improve safety training and reduce accidents and injuries.
• Work closely with the shipping dock to coordinate shipments and improve overall customer service.
• Establish and maintain a good working environment for al employees, improving morale and reducing turnover.
• Perform any other tasks deemed necessary by management to the best of your ability.

Position Requirements:

• The person holding this position should have a degree in engineering, business, or MIS with previous work experience in warehousing and distribution using an AS400 and personal computer and operating PRMS software. In place of the above, three to five years of intense Warehouse and Distribution experience using Mainframe software.

Requirements:

• College degree preferably in warehousing/logistics
• Three years minimum experience
• Expereience with picking systems
• Experience with inventory maintenance and year-end audit
• Computer experience (AS400 a plus, Excel, Word)
• Leadership skills
• Organizational skills
• Experience leading a staff of at least 10 employees and supervision
• Accustomed to flexible hours
• Quality driven
