At Sterling our employees are our most valuable resource and due to our continued and rapid growth we have several full-time opportunities in our Warehouse/Shipping Department at our brand-new facility in Hauppauge, NY (Long Island, Suffolk County)!

Our Warehouse Delivery Driver is responsible for packing, shipping, and transporting printing orders to customers. If you are a team player with a clean driving record (required for this role), at least 1 year relevant work experience, can lift up to 55lbs without assistance this position might be for you! The available shifts are 7am to 3pm and 11pm to 7am and the starting salary will commensurate with experience.

How You'll Help Us Be Successful In the Position:

• Prepare all orders for shipment; fill and ship orders
• Pack and shrink wrap boxes and skids
• Place packed orders in delivery area
• Operate forklift
• Locate and move paper stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Maintain the warehouse in an organized manner and follow all safety protocols
• Obey traffic laws and follow traffic and transportation procedures
• Turn in receipts received from delivery
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
• Other duties as directed by management

What You'll Need To be Successful In Either Position:

• REQUIRED to be minimum 25 yrs of age
• Warehouse or Shipping experience
• Team player, dependable, and reliable
• Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Able to lift and move items up to 55 pounds without assistance
• Available to work assigned shift and overtime if required
• Ability to follow safety standards and be on call for emergency situations
• Ability to effectively write and speak in English
