Job Description:
As a
Warehouse Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining and fixing mechanical equipment, machines, and other warehouse and building assets. In addition, you will be required to occasionally build and/or construct distribution systems and warehouse racking.
Job Duties:
- Repair equipment, structures, and machines as necessary.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on conveyor systems.
- Handle basic warehouse and building repairs and maintenance.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
- Oversee contractors when professional repairs are required.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven maintenance experience required.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Experience taking apart machines and equipment to repair defective parts.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills.
- Attention to detail and able to manage time well.
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to maintain focus while working independently.
- Self-motivated and willing to participate in a team environment.
- Powered Industrial Truck Operation (PITO) experience or willingness to learn.
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift or move 35lbs.
