Warehouse Coordinator Job description

Job Purpose

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the main warehouse and monitoring inventory at all locations.

Fast paced environment where priorities can change at a moment’s notice. The ability to multitask and adapt to change is crucial.

Shift

Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Tasks

• Picking up merchandise from vendor centers and safely transporting materials to the warehouse or job site, as needed.
• Transporting materials from warehouse to job sites, as needed.
• Receiving and documenting orders against purchase orders.
• Keeping an inventory of all material entering or exiting the warehouse and/or stocked vehicles in ConnectWise.
• Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the appropriate manager.
• Safely and securely pack and label material for shipping and/or staging.
• Keeping the warehouse cleaned and organized.
• Properly disposing of trash and recyclable items from warehouse and/or IT Workbench area.
• Pulling inventory reports and identify any discrepancies.
• Ensuring safety measures are being implemented while loading, unloading, and lifting material.
• Ensuring safety measure are being implemented while operating tools and machinery.
• Finding ways to improve the managing of the day-to-day warehouse operations, safety concerns and organization.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with Procurement duties, as needed.
• Assist with vehicle fleet maintenance, as needed.
• Assist with organizing stock at other locations, as needed. (Travel may be required.)
• Responsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise as it occurs

Education and Experience

Years of Experience 2 Years of Warehouse, Distribution Center or Inventory Work Experience Preferred

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent

Skills and Requirements

• Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
• Self-motivated and accountable.
• Ability to work on feet up to 8 hours and carry loads up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and safely.
• Ability to effectively communicate with vendors and peers.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license (minimum of 5 years of driving history required).

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $20-$28/hour
