Warehouse Associate, Full-time

Safa Goods, LLC. is a fast-growing, fast-paced distribution wholesaler that specializes in vape and smoke shop products.

A warehouse associate's main responsibility is to stock product, pick product and build pallets.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and/or order picking or related worked experience is required.
• Ability to lift up, and put down 40 lbs. consistently.
• Ability to work while standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and twisting for the entire duration of the shift.
• Must be able to work outside in the heat and sun frequently.
• Using a pallet jack, must have the ability to push over 100 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
• An ability and willingness to keep work area clean and organized.
• Must be detail oriented and great at counting.
• Must be able to use a pallet jack.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for stocking cases of product in the warehouse.
• Responsible for picking the cases of product with a 'hawk-eye' attention to detail.
• Build pallets with the picked cases of product paying special attention to weight and height dimensions of the pallet being built.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments when needed.
• Verify inventory system counts against the physical counts of stock.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Separate and stock warehouse products as needed.
• Maintain safe work practices in the warehouse.
• Verbally communicate with other staff on a regular basis.
• Other warehouse duties and special projects as requested.

This position is not for the faint of heart! It is a physical job where you are "humping" cases of product all day long and often in the heat and sun.

Must be able to work between the hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday with a requirement of working 1 Saturday per month (4 hours).. but the actual work hours vary depending on warehouse needs. Must have flexibility to start at 7am , or 8am or 9am. Stop time is 5pm no matter when the day begins. Expect to work anywhere from 40 to 50 hours in a single workweek. Over time pay eligible!

Pay: $17.00 - $17.01 per hour
