LaborMax Staffing is looking for a Part Time Warehouse/ Forklift team member. Job is working 25/hr week. Work responsibilities of the Warehouse associate/Forklift operator are to move packages and material around in a carpet foam facility. Ability to read a tape measure and cut foam padding as needed for commercial clients. Strong organization skills and being computer savvy is a plus. Past experience in receiving and scanning material into inventory is essential. Experience driving a sit-down forklift is needed. As a warehouse/ forklift operator, you will need to be able to operate a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs is needed. Using simple math is also required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Measure and cut foam padding to the length requested by each customer
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
Skills
- Proven experience as forklift operator
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Excellent physical condition and coordination
- Valid certification to operate forklifts
- Computer Savvy
- Strong organization
